CherryPop Slot Free Play
How To Play It
It’s easy enough to place your bets. Click or touch the Bet display, depending on your platform of choice, and you will open up a new menu, with values going from $0.20 to $40.
A game with 5 reels, which has 486 ways initially (243 actually, but they pay both ways), CherryPop can expand the area in an impressive manner, via their PopWins mechanic. Up to 59,049 ways to win could become available there, as a result. Your wins will form via 3+ matching symbols on consecutive reels, which start from either side.
Special Features
First and foremost, what’s truly interesting about CherryPop is the use of the PopWins mechanic, which AvatarUX invented for this series.
It involves forming winning combinations initially, with the symbols which are involved in them being removed. Now, here comes the unique part.
While in other slots you’d get the same number of symbols to replace the old ones, here you’re going to receive 2 new ones for every 1 removed. This expands the game area and the reel, so you start with 3 symbols and you could end up with 6 on the reel during regular spins, and up to 9 symbols per reel for the free spins. It will then reset between spins.
Triggering the free spins is also done differently. You need to expand all 5 reels to have 6 symbols each, and if that happens you receive 5 free games. You may gamble for a larger number of spins, if you’re willing to risk the feature, or you can just head in.
What the free spins add, is an increasing multiplier, which goes up by 1x, starting from an initial value of 2x. Each new PopWin mechanic which triggers, will add to it. As I’ve mentioned above, you also get up to 9 symbols per reel here, which allows for a lot more ways to win as well.
Maximum Payouts
Given the 59,049 ways to win, which will even pay both ways, and the increasing multipliers that will keep going up, it’s not much of a surprise that the game is capable of delivering huge wins, even up to 58,386x the stake.
Naturally, you get high volatility in exchange, but with a proper RTP, at 96.14%.
Summary
I liked CherryPop, as with the rest of the series, and I found the PopWins mechanic an interesting alternative to the usual Megaways. For fans of high volatility slots, it’s an especially interesting option.
