How To Play It
With 10 coins required for each round’s wager, there is a betting range of $0.10 to $100, for each spin.
3×3 reels are in play, with 9 active lines always present. You form your combinations by getting three symbols of the same type on one of the lines. Don’t let the classic setup fool you, there are some decent features inside.
Special Features
One of my favorite icons, the wild, is the one where you see the detective and his sidekick together. It’s a regular wild at times, but it can also come in 2x and 3x multiplier variants. A best case scenario would be to land three wilds with the 3x multiplier on the same line, the payout in that case being 324x the stake. With regular wilds, you get up to 12x the stake only. As you can see, up to 27x multipliers are possible with the right wilds along for the ride.
For the free spins, you need the scatter symbol, the one with the red question mark, landing three times on as many reels. If only two show up, you will get a re-spin for the third reel, so that you can try for the bonus feature one more time. If that doesn’t happen, you will get the Mystery feature instead.
In the Mystery feature, you will get the scatters to duplicate on their reels, and then turn into a single icon. You get either a weapon or a suspect in all those positions.
If you do get to the free spins, then the feature is called Case of Riches. It involves 4 rolls of the dice, where you move on the board, get clues, and then win. You’re trying to fill up the special Clue Meter, but even if you don’t, you still get access to a Clue Point Wheel, just with a lower chance to solve it. If the case is solved, you get a Mega Spin. Here, you use a wild with a multiplier (up to 3x), along with the weapon or suspect symbol chosen for the other reels.
