Casino Niagara

Review Casino Niagara – Niagara Falls Casinos

Casino Niagara is one of two casinos on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. It is the smaller of the two casinos, but still offers a large gaming floor, the only poker room in the city, three different restaurants, and a live entertainment area inside the LEV2L sports bar.

The games available are split between gaming machines, live dealer electronic tables, and live table games, with many games to choose from including blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and poker. The slot machines offer a wide range of denominations starting at pennies and going up to $5. There is also a decent collection of over 300 progressive slot machines. If you’re a poker fan, make sure to check out the separate poker room which hosts daily games and poker tournaments. The casino is open 24/7.

The casino does not have its own accommodation but is affiliated with many top-class hotels and inns in the area where you can receive discounts and special offers if you are part of the casino members club.

Casino Niagara Games

Even though Casino Niagara is the smallest casino in Niagara Falls, it doesn’t mean the gaming experience is lacking. The gaming floor is still large at 95,000 square foot and the casino hosts a wide variety of slot and table games. It is still a popular gaming location and the inclusion of a poker room, which hosts tournaments and daily games, makes it worth visiting.

If you have signed up as a PACs member you will be able to use your rewards card to earn points on all games at both Casino Niagara and the Fallsview Casino – the two casinos on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.

Casino Niagara Dress Code

As long as you are dressed in a respectable manner without any offensive or gang-related clothing you will be able to visit Casino Niagara in casual or smart attire. All guests must be over the age of 19, which is the legal gambling age in the province of Ontario. You will not be permitted to enter the casino if you appear to be under the influence of alcohol or if you have in your possession drugs, alcohol, or weapons.

Food & Beverages

You won’t find a fancy restaurant, but that doesn’t mean Casino Niagara will leave you without food or refreshments. There are three places where you can sit down for a meal including the Lev2l Sports Bar, the Market Buffet, and the Perks Cafe. The sports bar offers a classic pub-style menu, while the buffet serves a wide selection of meals every day including pizzas, Asian, and Mediterranean cuisine. The buffet also has an All-You-Can-Eat BBQ special available every Wednesday. The Perks Cafe is your most relaxed dining experience, offering light snacks and non-alcohol beverages. There are also a few bars located on the casino floor, which stop serving alcohol after 2 am.

Special Events/Promotions

For special entertainment events, you can visit the LEV2L sports bar which has live entertainment every Friday and Saturday from 7 pm until 1 am. Apart from that, you can enjoy other events such as the Friday Ladies Night and the Date Night on Mondays – Thursdays. There are also plenty of gaming promotions, with the most popular ones being the Double Point Mondays (for PAC members), Hot Slot Tuesdays, and the Saturday Night Slot Party. There are also slot tournaments every Wednesdays from 2 pm until 8 pm.

Casino Niagara Membership Info

The Players Advantage Club is a membership available at both Casino Niagara and the nearby Fallsview Casino Resort. You are not required to be a member to enter these casinos, but registration is free and entitles you to various perks that make it worthwhile. You will receive a PAC card depending on your level. There are five levels: PAC, Gold, Platinum, Premium, and Elite. The first three levels are earned based on the number of reward points you accumulate, but the last two are by invite only.

The different benefits include cashback, access to members-only events and tournaments, birthday offers, complimentary coat check, hotel offers and discounts, and complimentary food. The more you play the more reward points you will earn, which can then be exchanged at a rate of 100 points for $10 worth of cash, slot play, dining, or spa services.

Accommodation & Transportation

Although Casino Niagara does not offer accommodation, it is surrounded by many premium hotels with some of the best views of the falls. Some of these hotels are partnered with the casino and include Sheraton on the Falls (4-star), Crowne Plaza Fallsview (3-star), Clifton Victoria Inn At The Falls (3-star), and the Skyline Hotel & Waterpark (3-star). All four of these hotels offer comfortable accommodation and plenty of amenities.

Local Attractions

The number one reason people visit this part of Canada is for the Niagara and Horseshoe Falls. Both of these are magnificent waterfalls that can be seen from various locations including the Cave of the Winds (USA) or the Journey Behind the Falls (Canada). Other tourist attractions include the nearby Skylon Tower, Queen Victoria Park, and Hornblower Niagara Cruises.

Nearby Casinos

The two other casinos in Niagara Falls are split between one on the American side, Fallsview Casino Resort, and one on the Canadian side, Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. Both are almost the same distance away from Casino Niagara and offer similar casino & hotel experiences. Fallsview Casino is the largest of the three casinos, but Seneca Casino is not far behind. Both are great alternatives to gaming in the area.

A Niagara Falls Casino Experience

Even though Casino Niagara is small compared to the other casinos in the area, it should definitely be on your list of gaming locations when visiting Niagara Falls. The main events take place in the poker room, but there are also plenty of gaming machines and table games to keep you entertained.
